📚 Data Sources

Town Meeting Financial Statements

All data comes from the financial statements distributed to voters for the Annual Town Meeting and Budget Hearings. These documents detail the proposed operating budget and prior year actuals.

Fiscal Years 2014 through 2026 (13 years of data)

🔬 Methodology

Note: This entire site was "vibe coded" using Antigravity, an AI-powered coding assistant.

Official budget PDF documents were obtained from town records

PDF pages were converted to high-resolution images

OCR Extraction

Optical Character Recognition (OCR) was used to extract text and numbers. This step was "vibe coded" using Antigravity to generate the extraction scripts.
